Supplied artwork guidelines

Image Files - here at Severn Sign we work mainly in PC format, we prefer image files to be in JPEG or TIFF format

CMYK 300dpi and no more than 25% of full size i.e. if your finished/printed image size is AO (1189 x 841mm) save your Image files at 300 dpi and NO smaller then A4 (297 x 210mm).

If sending PDF files containing text, please make sure that all fonts have been converted to outlines/paths, if you cannot outline your fonts please supply all fonts used in your job (Mac fonts are Not compatible with PC's).

Supplying Files - if your image file is over 30mb in size please do not email, burn to CD/DVD (PC format) and mail.

Clients who need to send us large graphic files can now do so by using FTP access. Please contact us for the address and logon details. Please follow any uploads with an email confirming what has been sent

Vectored files - Drawn images not photographic, we can accept these files if the following formats: CorelDraw 11, Illustrator 10, Freehand 8 as a vectorised ai or eps, we do not accept any Microsoft Word documents. Please make sure that all fonts have been converted to outlines/paths, if you cannot outline your fonts please supply all fonts use in your job (Mac fonts are not compatible with PC's), all colours should be CMYK and or Pantone, please supply coloured proofs whenever possible with any specific Pantone colours clearly marked, to ensure accuracy of output, you can also provide samples to be colour matched. Please note that with vinyl cut lettering your colour will be the nearest possible match and there may be an additional charge for using a non-stock vinyl.

Artwork Changes - If Severn Signs need to make changes to any artwork, costs will be charged on an hourly basis.
Proofs - this MUST be signed and returned, no work will commence until this has been done.

Payment

All non-account customers 50% depsit, balance on completion.
Account customers 30 days from receipt of invoice.
All prices are subject to VAT
Payment accepted, cheque supported by a valid cheque guarantee card, cash, credit card or via bacs payment
